Operation Message Home enables military personnel stationed in Iraq to make videos of themselves and send them to their loved ones here in the US. Previously the only contact possible was by phone. Mary Macomber, the wife of Marine Lance Cpl. Jacob Macomber said. "He's very worried that when he comes home in February that his daughter is not going to recognize her dad." Through OMH, camcorders and blank DVD discs have been sent to Iraq so that families can stay in contact over the great distance.
